On July 10, 2010, the brand new LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certified Ramsey County Library opened to the applause of more than 8500 Roseville residents. As a LEED Gold Certified building, the library reused more than 75 percent of the original building. 97-plus percent of the building materials were recycled too.

Link up to the ideas for sustainable living inspired by this amazing building and explore some of the classes the library offers too—such as how to recognize toxic hazards in your home and what to do about them, creative job searches for workers over 50, how to upload photos to your computer from your digital camera and how to eat food grown locally. Oh, and they also have books!
