How do I obtain a permit to purchase or carry a firearm?: A Permit to Carry a Firearm must be requested through the County Sheriff’s Department in which you reside. The Permit To Purchase Firearms application may be downloaded, completed and returned to the Roseville Police Department for processing. Applications may be mailed in or dropped off in person or in the drop box in the City Hall parking lot. 1. How do I get a copy of a police report or make a data request?: Police and accident reports are available no less than seven days after the incident. You can request a copy of a report or make a data request by downloading a Request for Information Form and emailing to policerecords@cityofroseville.com. You may also call the police department Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (651-792-7008).

2. How can I pick up my property or inquire about found property?: Appointments are required for all property releases. Please email or call 651-792-7236 to set up a date and time to pick up your property.

5. What should I do if I am stopped by police?: Please read this informational message to help you better understand what to expect from police officers if you are stopped or questioned.

6. Can I request special parking considerations for an event?: No parking signs may be covered for events with permission from the police department. Please fill out and submit the online parking request form. All applications must be received no later than five days prior to event. Application responses will be sent by email.
