ROSEFEST - Rendezvous in '22

Roseville Parks and Recreation is looking forward to a summer filled with in-person events and programs. “We are just thrilled to bring people back together for a summer that looks and feels more like the summers before the pandemic,” says Roseville Parks and Recreation Superintendent Carrie Anderson. “The Rose Parade, Run for the Roses, Taste of Rosefest, and Party in the Park are back in the lineup after a 2-year hiatus.”

The parade committee, a group of volunteers who plan the annual Rose Parade, selected "Rendezvous in ‘22" for this year’s Rosefest slogan because the community is energized and excited to get together again.

“It’s a great feeling,” expresses Lorraine Hansen. “People are getting excited about doing things again!” This year marks 31 years that Hanson has volunteered for Rosefest, most notably the Rose Parade. The parade features dozens of community organizations and one of the largest high school marching band competitions.

“Rosefest is a great opportunity to celebrate our wonderful community,” says Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Matthew Johnson. “We’re excited and hoping to reconnect with some of our long-time residents and friends, and hope to meet some of our newer community members at this summer’s events. There’s something for everyone.”
